dosview — Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

dosview is a file viewer. It does not collect, store or send any personal data.

The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking.
The app does not connect to the network. Files you open are read on your device and never leave it.
The app keeps its settings and the list of recently opened files on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.
Photos and videos are opened through the system picker, which gives the app only the item you choose, not access to your library.
Links in the app (this page, the author's GitHub) open in your browser, under the browser's own privacy policy.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
